In loving memory of Paul Stead (23 December 1946 to 12 August 2025)
To commemorate the life of Paul, we have set up a tribute page in his honour. Paul's specific wish is to support research into brain cancer.
A loyal, loving, stubborn, cheeky, generous, funny, sports-mad man who had a talent for cricket (then later golf) and life in general. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. Rest in peace our lovely Paul.
ACRF is privileged to fulfil Paul's wishes, by funding technology vital to progress this research.
Please feel free to add a photo and leave a comment for the family.
Thank you so much for your support.

Helen, we were blessed and so grateful to have both you and Paul as a best friends and role models during so many of your happy years in Melbourne. Paul inspired and entertained us with his vast knowledge, every ready stories, and generous spirit. He was a giant in both life and golf. And how he loved his golf/life metaphors, often recommending the safety of an easy five–wood to negotiate the seen and unseen hazards ahead. Irrepressible and irreplaceable, Paul – you will never be forgotten. Gill Ednie and Trevor Lockett xx
