Cityscape!

Nothing like a fascinating city to shoot your steps through the roof!  Through all the quirky alleyways, past crowded coffee shops and arty arcades; from Flinders Station to St Kilda, and many streets in between.  It's been a while Melbourne, but I'm excited to be back!

More dancing!

The year is picking up speed, everything getting busier, and happily - lots of dancing coming our way!
Here's our awesome zouk community supporting each other to learn and grow :)

The Leiland Brothers

Travelling all over the countryside...(if you know, you know :D )
Adventures through the bush, around great buildings, into the hospital; inspiring exhibitions, productive private lessons, and shopping trips for tasty treats!

Let's get physical!

Changing it up, today I did 2 hours of dancing at a Zouk social.  So good to get moving as well as hang out with this great community of people!
NB  My watch said I did 6000 steps for the whole day, but i'm pretty sure it can't read dancing! ;)

3rd day

Was indoors for most of the day getting work done, so my somewhat relaxed 40 minutes for today was wondering around the shopping centre :D
Pretty quiet for a Friday evening!
Also, thanks to my wonderful sponsors so far, i am 1/5 of the way to my target :)

Day 2!

back to my physio exercises, followed by a walk around the neighbourhood - grateful every day that I can be moving 'normally' again, and this fundraiser is giving me a good reason to stay focused as well :)

Getting Started!

FIRST DAY

Just signed up in the morning, so when a friend suggested dinner in town, it seemed the perfect way to get my first 40 minutes of exercise in - bonus glass of wine at the end ;)

Always beautiful walking through Canberra's green suburbs, and clearing my head on the way.

I’m moving for brilliant cancer research this February. Will you support me?

My dad passed away last year with advanced bone and liver cancer, undetected until weeks before he died.  No-one remains untouched by cancer, and if our small actions can help to change someone else's future, then they are worth it.

So I’m taking part in ACRF’s new fundraising challenge Fit40 in Feb by moving for at least 40 minutes a day in February.

Each minute I move and each dollar I raise will go to backing brilliant research to advance to a world without cancer.

You can help me by donating today. Thanks for supporting brilliant cancer research.
